Terms & Conditions

Sunny Coast Bootcamp & Sunny Coast Strong

Last updated: 12th August 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to anyone booking, purchasing, or participating in a session with Sunny Coast Bootcamp or Sunny Coast Strong. By booking a class, trial, or membership, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Program

We currently offer:

  • Sunny Coast Bootcamp, our outdoor group fitness sessions on the Sunshine Coast

  • Sunny Coast Strong, our strength training classes designed for the over-60s community

Our session times and locations are available on our website. Please contact Erin via our contact submission forms, phone call or email for pricing, membership and bookings.

2. Health Screening & Eligibility

Before participating for the first time, you'll be asked to complete a health screening or Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q). You must:

  • Answer honestly and disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations

  • Update us if your health circumstances change

  • Seek medical clearance from your doctor before participating if you have a pre-existing condition, are recovering from injury or surgery, are pregnant, or are otherwise advised to seek medical advice before starting a new exercise program

For Sunny Coast Strong participants: given our sessions are designed for an over-60s cohort, we strongly encourage you to check with your GP before beginning, particularly if you have a heart condition, joint issues, osteoporosis, balance concerns, or any other condition that may affect your ability to exercise safely.

We may decline or modify your participation where we reasonably believe it's necessary for your safety.

3. Assumption of Risk

Exercise, including bootcamp and strength training sessions, involves an inherent risk of injury.

By participating, you acknowledge that:

  • Physical exercise carries a risk of injury, including muscle strain, joint injury, falls, or, in rare cases, more serious harm

  • Outdoor sessions may involve additional risks related to terrain, weather, and environmental conditions

  • You are participating voluntarily and at your own risk, based on your own assessment of your fitness and health

  • You will inform your trainer immediately if you feel unwell, dizzy, or experience pain during a session

Nothing in these Terms excludes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

4. Bookings, Memberships & Casual Passes

  • Bookings are made by getting in touch with us via our website and are confirmed once payment is received.

  • Membership and casual pass pricing, inclusions, and any expiry terms are set out at the time of purchase.

  • Our class spots are limited. Please cancel or reschedule a booking as early as possible if you can't attend, so we can offer your spot to someone else.

5. Payments

  • Payment is due at the time of booking, or in line with your membership's direct debit schedule.

  • Direct debit memberships will continue to renew automatically until cancelled in accordance with the notice period below.

  • Failed payments may result in suspension of access until payment is resolved.

6. Cancellations, Refunds, and Membership Pauses

  • Memberships: require 4 weeks' written notice to cancel your membership.

  • Pauses: memberships may be paused for illness, injury, or travel with reasonable notice — contact us to arrange this.

  • Refunds are not provided for change of mind once a session has been attended, but may be offered at our discretion in exceptional circumstances, or where required under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Weather & Session Cancellations

Sunny Coast Bootcamp sessions are held outdoors and may be cancelled, relocated, or modified at short notice due to extreme weather or unsafe conditions. Where a session is cancelled by us, we'll offer an alternative session, credit, or reschedule.

8. Code of Conduct

At Sunny Coast Bootcamp and Sunny Coast Strong, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants. We ask that everyone:

  • Treat trainers and fellow participants with respect

  • Follow trainer instructions, particularly around exercise technique and safety

  • Arrive on time and dressed appropriately for outdoor or strength-based exercise

We reserve the right to refuse or suspend a person's participation for conduct that is unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful to others.

9. Photography & Social Media

We may take photos or video during sessions or events for use on our website and social media. If you'd prefer not to be included, please let your trainer know before the session, and we'll do our best to accommodate this. See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle images and personal information.

10. Injury or Illness Reporting

If you're injured or experience a medical incident during a session, please inform your trainer immediately. We will provide reasonable first aid assistance and, where necessary, contact emergency services and/or your nominated emergency contact.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Sunny Coast Bootcamp and Sunny Coast Strong are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation in a session, except to the extent caused by our negligence. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Privacy

Your personal information, including health information collected through our screening process, is handled in accordance with our [Privacy Policy].

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued participation in our sessions after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law
